Food Diary - Days 5 and 6

Sunday (Day 5)

Pre-Run (Race) - Applesauce, Whey Protein, Banana and Ironman Perform in the blender.  The first cup was okay.  The second and third did not go down so well.


Run - One Power Gel, 2 Flasks of Ironman Perform and Clif Shot Bloks.  I didn't eat the Shot Blocks, they pretty much froze in my jacket.  Post run I had 2 scoops of Endurox (not pictured).


Lunch - Turkey burger made with onions, peppers and mushrooms topped with goat cheese, broccoli and Brussels sprouts.


Dinner - We are out at Wood 'n Tap.  I had a salad and grilled salmon with green beans.


Snack - Chocolate whey protein mixed with Greek yogurt.


Monday (Day 6)

Breakfast - 1 egg and 2 egg whites, spinach and mushrooms.

Snack - Greek yogurt and cherries.


Lunch - The salad (the picture makes it look smaller than it actually is).  


Snack -- Cottage cheese and peach slices.


Dinner - Turkey burger with onions, peppers, mushrooms and goat cheese, two roasted beets and asparagus.
